Frequently Asked Questions

We deliver all across rural and urban USA and Canada. Send us your delivery zip/postal code when you submit an inquiry to ensure you are within our delivery zones.

Our Canadian-made aluminum extrusion will NEVER rust. In fact, rest assured knowing that upon purchasing our aluminum fencing, you will never have to maintain it again (besides a regular hose-down)! Unlike traditional fence options such as wood or iron, Aluminum Horizontal Slat Fence products will never require staining or repainting, and will never rot or rust away!

Our Aluminum Horizontal Slat Fence can be installed in a variety of methods:

1.Burying posts in cement. This would require creating a hole in the ground (typically 2 to 3 feet deep in USA, or 3.5 to 4 feet deep in Canada) and filling it with cement and water mixture until it hardens.

2. Surface-mounting on top of a platform. If you already have a cement curb, wood/composite deck, or are going to create a platform for the posts to screw into, we can provide posts with baseplates.Β

3. Post-pounding using galvanized pipes. For a no-dig installation, consider pounding galvanized pipes into the ground and sleeving our aluminum posts over top.Β

Let us know which method you intend to install with so we can advise on the appropriate material required.

Rest assured knowing you are purchasing directly from the manufacturer when you order from us! Our Aluminum Horizontal Slat Fence is made in Canada. We manufacture out of our facility in Vaughan, approximately 30 minutes north of Toronto, Canada. If you are local and would like to visit our showroom/manufacturing facility, please contact us to setup an appointment.

Contrary to popular belief, pre-assembled panels are typically more difficult to work with and install. Our system is designed to be built on the project site. We provide the aluminum posts, channels, fence slats and hardware separately. This system is better because:

1. Allows you to cut individual slats, channels and posts shorter where needed, instead of cutting an entire pre-fab panel at once.

2. Beneficial on projects where you need to accommodate for grade changes & slopes, as we can provide any length posts and channels that you can adjust on-site.

Certainly, we will custom build the gate(s) for you to your desired specifications. Whether you need an automated driveway gate, or just a typical man-gate, we can manufacture it for you!Β

Our slat fencing can be ordered at any height ranging from 2β€² to 20β€² high! Our materials can be used for residential applications, as well as commercial and industrial. We recommend to check with local bylaws to confirm what fence height is allowed in your city.

Certainly! We offer the most durable aluminum slats on the market that will stand the test of winds and harsh weather. If privacy is not your main concern, consider choosing some spacing between the slats to allow for wind to pass through.

Our fence sections come 8′ wide. Every 8′ panel will require 1 post, and then a final post to end the line where the fence stops.

Example: If you have 46 linear feet of fencing on the left side of your property, just divide by 8 to get the number of fence sections required. In this instance, 46 LF divided by 8 = 5.75 fence sections. Because we only sell full fence sections, you must round it to the next number up. For this example you would need 6 fence sections, and 7 posts.Β

For full-privacy fencing, simply stack the fence slats on top of eachother and screw them into the channel in the same manner.
